Imbagon or Godmode Warrior?
As the title implies I wanted to know if a Godmode warrior would be better than my Imbagon at maintaining SY and in turn helping the party. If there's no clear answer then I'd just like an opinion thanks.

Imbagon is generally better (assuming 8-man area).

As far as I know, your Imbagon should have more damage-reducing skills to use to aid the party. It doesn't build adrenaline as fast, but it's fast enough to keep everything going.
I'd stick with Imbagon.

The para doesn't have to move to change targets if the enemy is blocking, etc, so the para is better. Also, this frees up the War to run Earth Shaker, which needless to say, is very good idea.

Imbagons are better at pumping out defense, warriors are better at pumping out damage.

Take one of each, but switch the Warrior from "godmode warrior" to dps Warrior. :]
(or something just as good, like Marty suggested w/ his ES Warrior)

With my DSlash/SY I believe I'm better at keeping SY up more consistantly. However, he's a frontline guy taking a beating, and doesn't get the +100 armor, so there's a chance he'll die and then the party is screwed.
With the Imbagon, you get TNtF and you're ranged so you're less likely to take damage so it's safer.
I'd prolly say go Imbagon between the two.

Imbagon will be more effective when playing with people, however with AI teammates the DSer's melee range means he's better able to shepherd the enemies into adjacent zones for SS/MoP etc to work their magic.

My two mains are a GodMode D-Slasher and an Imbagon. The D-Slasher can bodyblock and has great lockdown with Brawling Headbutt, which i cycle with Save Yourselves. Both are adrenaline so SY isn't always up.
The Imbagon has better battlefield awareness because he's in the midline and can quickly switch priority targets. His adrenaline is easier to maintain, pumping SY out more regularly.
Both are excellent physical options. If you play mostly for the storyline quests and missions, go with the Gon. If you plan on solo farming after you complete the storylines, go with the Warrior. If you want to Ursan farm in groups, go with the Gon.

Generally Imbagon, for all the reasons mention. Plus, Imbagon is more reliable for harder and more longterm battles, as the paragon is rarely targeted by enemy AI, and has -constant- 100%(+) Adrenale gain, as opposed to the warrior's 15 second downtime.
Though, if your playing with a paragon and a warrior human player, both could ensure near constant +100 armor for all parties, while doing craploads of damage, obviously.

The Imbagon is the better defensive character of the two.
The 'gon also lets your Warrs play Earthshaker.
Earthshaker iz gud.

If the purpose is to maintain SY, imo its easier to maintain on a imbagon
from my exp from dslash warrior, my brawling headbutt and steelfang chains get disrupted sometimes when my target dies (prematurely) after i headbutt him. -- maybe i am just bad or perhaps my heros spiked too hard

If you want more offense, but sacrificing 15 seconds of perma-SY, go Warrior.
If you want more defense, but sacrificing a little damage, go Paragon.
Warriors also have the ability to solo farm, though.
Overall, if you already have other chars that can solo farm or whatever, go Paragon -- you WON'T regret it! ;o

Paragon will probaby be more useful. SY is awesome and no doubt Godmode warrior can keep it up for lengthy periods, but Imbagon also provides TNTF, maybe anthem of weariness/flame, ebon standard honor, and so on.

Imbagon, on account of it being overall more useful and powerful for the team.

Paragon.
I really see little reason to use a Warrior in PvE over a Paragon. Monsters don't focus fire on the Warrior, unless everyone hangs back and the Warrior is bonded and all that other crap, so a Paragon can soak up just as much damage as a Warrior by simply not running from the monsters. A Paragon can do almost as much damage as a Warrior, maybe not quite as much as a DSlash Warrior, but still does decent steady physical damage. The final nail in the coffin is...a Paragon can help keep the team alive much better than a Warrior.
Personally, I see little reason to take a Warrior now that WY is nerfed. Some people may like the tank n' spank style, I guess a Warrior is good for that, but lot of people build their team for a tank n' spank style of play, but they don't actually play that way, and that is just /fail and I am way off topic, so theres my double pennies.

People used "WY!" on Warriors? Earthshaker is a good enough reason to take them. D-Slasher is best if you've not got an SY/TNTF Paragon handy.

I took Warriors simply for WY, before it was nerfed anyway. Ran 16 tactics just for WY. Not with my Paragon since it would be kind of redundant, but for like my Monk, +26 armor to everyone was pretty helpful. Possibly a noobish thing to do, but I really liked WY prenerf.
